Field Service Technician | Southeast TerritoryAegis is partnered with a growing industrial machinery and automation manufacturer that designs custom equipment for metal fabrication and manufacturing applications. They are looking for a Field Service Technician to support customers throughout the Southeast, primarily across Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. This is a home-based position with significant travel and strong overtime earning potential.Responsibilities:- Install, set up, and commission industrial machinery and automated equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues at customer sites
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Perform equipment testing and train customers on operation and maintenance
- Provide onsite and remote technical support
- Communicate field issues back to the factory and service team
Requirements:- 2+ years of field service or industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience installing or commissioning industrial equipment
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- PLC/controls and hydraulics experience are a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 80% and work overtime/weekends when needed
- Must be based in the Southeast near a major airport, ideally around Atlanta, Raleigh-Durham, or Nashville
