Field Service Technician - Ag/Diesel Equipment

Parish Tractor is looking for a motivated and dependable Field Service Technician to join our Meridian, MS team! If you have experience working on agricultural equipment, diesel engines, or heavy equipment and enjoy working in the field, we would love to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities

This position includes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues, performing repairs and maintenance, documenting completed work, and communicating directly with customers about equipment needs. You'll work independently in the field, troubleshooting and repairing equipment to help customers minimize downtime and keep their equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
• Adequate personal tool set (specialty tools provided).
• Minimum 1 year of agricultural, construction, or turf equipment repair or mechanical service experience preferred. Technical, trade school, or OEM training is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and travel to customer locations as needed.
• Position required prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching, and working in awkward positions.
