We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Technician to perform major repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls of recycling and material processing equipment at customer facilities. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled technician with strong welding, fabrication, and mechanical abilities who enjoys restoring heavy equipment to peak operating condition and minimizing customer downtime.
Perform major repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls on shredders, balers, conveyors, compactors, and other recycling equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and structural failures.
Execute advanced welding, cutting, fabrication, and component replacement.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble heavy machinery.
Lead field repair projects and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime.
Complete service documentation and provide repair recommendations.
Travel to customer sites throughout North America as required.
5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair, welding, industrial maintenance, or field service.
Strong welding and fabrication skills.
Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
