This position requires a mechanically skilled professional who is comfortable working independently, traveling on short notice, and building strong customer relationships.
Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and service on size reduction equipment at customer locations.
Travel frequently throughout the Midwest, U.S., and Canada by air and automobile, sometimes with minimal notice.
Support granulator rebuild department projects and receive initial product training.
Provide office-based customer support for granulator and size reduction equipment issues when not traveling.
Communicate with customers on-site, by phone, and by email to diagnose and resolve service issues.
Complete detailed field service reports following each service call.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to resolve technical and customer issues.
Maintain positive customer relationships and represent the company professionally at customer facilities.
Manage multiple service projects and priorities simultaneously.
