    Job Summary

    The Field Service Representative is responsible for providing on-site technical support, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, installation, and customer training for analytical instruments. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently while delivering high-quality customer service and technical support.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform preventive maintenance on analytical instruments.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
    • Repair and calibrate instruments at customer sites.
    • Install equipment and ensure proper operation.
    • Provide customer training on equipment usage and maintenance.
    • Manage inventory related to service activities.
    • Coordinate trip planning and scheduling for service visits.
    • Complete administrative tasks related to field service operations.
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support.
    • Work independently to resolve technical issues efficiently.
    • Travel extensively to customer locations as required.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
    • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
    • Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • Availability for frequent overnight travel.
    • Valid driver's license and passport.
