    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Reviews the purchase order after received from customer and works with buyers to source correct parts.
    • Review and request material for future field service jobs.
    • Receive and issue parts to the appropriate field service jobs.
    • Creates production work orders for machining operations, as required.
    • Makes recommendations to optimize inventory use and customer satisfaction, i.e. purchasing shortages, stock transferring, or modifying stock. On occasion, may make decisions on optimizing inventory use.
    • Informs Receiving Department employees of priority of incoming material.
    • Supports all field service business units, and other departments as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Knowledge:

    • 5 plus years related Operations or Sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Basic industry knowledge.
    • Excellent Product knowledge.

    Experience/Skills:

    • 2 plus years of Operations and/or Inside sales experience to include shop activities or Inside sales experience, experience with Microsoft office and other production and sales order software.

    COMPETENCIES:

    • Good written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with a cross section of other employees and customers.
    • Strong customer service skills including the ability to develop rapport and trust with other employees and customers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
    • Good organizational skills to include the ability to handle several orders at one time.
    • Basic Analytical Skills to utilize various sources of data to draw conclusions relating to scheduling and meeting the customers’ requirements.
    • Strong Technical aptitude to convey product design, construction, and function.
    • Concentration, focus and accuracy with documentation while performing administrative duties.
    • Verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
