Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provideexcellent customer service
• Performinstallation, commissioning, and maintenance testing of low, medium, and highvoltage electrical equipment, including:

oTransformers,power cables, circuit breakers, switchgear, etc

• Workwith engineers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Workas part of team to accomplish a common goal
• Prepareand review test documentation
• Prepareand submit daily reports
• Performsafety analysis of jobs and tasks
• Useand continually develop interpersonal skills

Skills &Knowledge

• Ability to interact with clients and colleagues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational skills including time management, attention to detail, and multitasking
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledge of electrical design and control circuits
• Knowledge of protection schemes is considered an asset
• Knowledge and expertise of electrical design, maintenance, and commissioning
• Interaction with clients, customers, contractors, and others

Qualificationsand Experience

• Associates degree or electrical engineering degree
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to legally work in the US
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

PhysicalRequirements

• Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, drive regularly, fly regularly
• Must be able to perform work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
