SUMMARY The Field Service Engineer provides advanced technical support for NBE equipment with a primary focus on controls, automation, and PLC troubleshooting. This role is responsible for diagnosing complex equipment issues, developing and implementing programming modifications, and optimizing system performance both remotely and at customer sites. While a strong understanding of mechanical systems is beneficial, this position is primarily intended for an engineer with controls expertise who enjoys solving complex technical problems and is willing to travel to support customers in the field. This position frequently requires out-of-town travel approximately 40 weeks per year, typically one week (Monday–Friday) or less per onsite visit, working directly with NBE customers and contractors to troubleshoot, commission, and support NBE equipment. There is a broad pay range posted for this position. Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
