Field Service Calibration Technician

THE ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional Field Service Technician to join our Accredited Labs team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing organization and have a direct impact in delivering high-quality calibration and metrology services directly to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

As our Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and measurement services at customer facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining customer confidence, ensuring measurement accuracy, and upholding the quality standards that Accredited Labs is known for.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calibration and verification of test and measurement equipment at customer sites
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and measurement systems
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical information to customers
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation
• Follow quality procedures and safety standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally
• Travel to customer locations as required
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality objectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical and/or technical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver''s license and ability to travel to customer locations
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship
• Ability to learn calibration procedures, equipment operation, and industry standards

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in calibration, metrology, or test and measurement equipment
• Military technical experience (PMEL, TMDE, electronics, avionics, or related fields)
• Electronics, instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Manufacturing maintenance or industrial services background
• Associate degree in engineering technology or related technical field
• Technical school or vocational training graduate
• ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory experience
