FIELD SERVICE/ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
HireCall is seeking a Field Service/Assembly Technician for one of our valued clients. This position is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, assembling, and servicing machinery and equipment.
Pay & Schedule
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Travel: Up to 40% of the time to customer job sites
Shop Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday OT as needed
Job Responsibilities
Perform equipment service and maintenance, new equipment assembly, and equipment setup for customer orders.
Travel to customer job locations to perform service and provide technical support.
Document and report site visits and other service-related communications.
Use a variety of tools and equipment, including:
Assemble, repair, and modify parts and equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow established work steps, procedures, and equipment setup instructions.
Read and interpret technical documents, diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions.
Work collaboratively with other team members to complete assigned projects.
Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Complete projects and other assignments as directed by management.
Follow all company and industry safety requirements, including proper use of PPE.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience repairing and maintaining machinery or equipment.
Read volt meters and electrical experience
Experience with Hydraulics/Pneumatics
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently when needed.
Good communication skills.
Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using machinery, tools, and computers.
Must have a suitable driving record as determined through an MVR and insurance requirements.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time to customer locations.
Working Conditions
This position works in a typical manufacturing environment and involves hands-on assembly, equipment service, maintenance, and repair. The position requires standing, walking, lifting, and working with various tools and equipment. Travel to customer locations is required.
