The Sustainment Operations APEX (Accelerating Performance Excellence) Team Lead will serve as the technical authority for a group that manages Sustainment APEX, the Obeya Room, RIO (Risk, Issues & Opportunities), and the Performance‑Metrics HUB. This high‑tempo role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution to advance the Sustainment organization and requires polished presentation skills for regular briefings to senior sustainment leadership. You will drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that translate data‑driven insights into measurable performance gains.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or higher.
• Demonstrated experience working and interacting with senior management within LM.
• Excellent communication, change management, and organizational skills
• Experience presenting to customers and leadership
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure

Desired Skills

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
• Masters Degree
• Minimum 10 years of aerospace experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with supporting organizations, companies and customer maintenance operations leadership critical for success.
• Demonstrates Empathy, patience and a collaborative mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the capture and proposal development processes including BOE Development
• Strong working knowledge of Air Force maintenance and operations.
• Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Demonstrated understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Availability Metrics

Experience in contracts and requirements decomposition

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
