Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations within a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient flow of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while ensuring inventory accuracy, food safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build strong teams, improve processes, and partner effectively with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse employees and shift personnel.
• Manage the movement and storage of raw materials, packaging, ingredients, and finished products.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and investigate discrepancies.
• Establish and monitor warehouse KPIs, productivity, accuracy, safety, and service metrics.
• Ensure proper product rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with GMPs, HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and company quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with Production and Supply Chain to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Manage warehouse space, layout, organization, and material flow.
• Utilize WMS/ERP systems to track inventory and warehouse activity.
• Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and control operating costs.
• Ensure equipment and warehouse areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
• Enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or materials management experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Food & beverage or CPG manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and/or finished goods.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Experience with WMS and/or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and warehouse sanitation requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Forklift/warehouse equipment experience preferred.
