Strategic Business Impact
Our internships are 10-week positions and students have the option to join us on either May 24, 2027 or June 14, 2027. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.
About the Role
Are you passionate about science, service, and making an impact in the real world? The Field Sales & Service Intern - Chemical Analysis Division program at Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a unique, immersive opportunity to explore both Sales and Field Service career paths in our mission-driven organization.
This foundational internship is designed to introduce you to the key functions of Field Sales and Field Service roles and how they collaborate to ensure customer success. You'll develop the skills, relationships, and knowledge needed to build a long-term career in the field-whether your path leads to Sales, Field Service Engineering, or both.
For this role, Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:

Post-Internship Path
Upon graduation, our goal is to transition successful interns into junior-level full-time roles in either Sales or Field Service, equipped with the foundational knowledge and real-world experience to thrive in your chosen career path. Flexibility and openness to relocation within the U.S. is required based on business needs.
Compensation & Relocation
Our Undergraduate internships offer an hourly rate between $18.50 - $28.75 dependent upon the role type and location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). If eligible, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000. Students must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend. Please note that interns are required to have a reliable mode of transportation to and from their assigned work location for the duration of their internship.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position Intern II based in Massachusetts is $26.50-$26.50.
