    The Opportunity

    We’re seeking a results-driven Field Sales Manager to build, lead and scale a high-performance field sales team that will drive market growth through direct customer engagement.

    This role owns two critical outcomes:

    1. Building a world-class field sales team that consistently generates qualified leads.
    2. Implementing scalable sales systems that drive sustainable growth.

    Territory Overview

    • Primary Market: Greater Phoenix metropolitan area.
    • Base of Operations: Tempe office.
    • Coverage Area: Approximately 50-mile radius from Tempe.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Team Leadership
      • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs).
      • Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and accountability.
      • Build and sustain a high-performance, goal-driven team culture.
    • Drive Field Operations
      • Manage daily field deployment and territory coverage.
      • Optimize lead generation strategies and follow-up processes.
    • Performance Management
      • Set, track, and drive individual and team KPIs.
      • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
      • Implement improvement plans to exceed targets.
    • Own Sales Strategy
      • Execute field sales strategies for maximize market penetration.
      • Develop and iterate sales scripts, presentations, and messaging.
      • Adapt approaches based on market feedback and data.
    • Training & Development
      • Design and lead training programs to level up your team.
      • Ensure compliance with sales systems and company policies.
    • Territory Management
      • Plan and optimize territory assignments.
      • Monitor and improve coverage efficiency and market reach.
      • Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities.
    • Reporting & Analytics
      • Track and report key performance metrics.
      • Analyze data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
      • Provide regular updates to leadership on field operations.

    Qualifications


    Required

    • 3+ years of field sales or direct marketing experience.
    • 2+ years of sales team management.
    • Proven record leading successful, high-output teams.
    • Strong knowledge of territory management and CRM systems.
    • Excellent skills in training, coaching, and team development.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    Preferred

    • Experience in roofing, construction, or home improvement.
    • Background in sales training and development.
    • Bilingual (Spanish) a strong plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • Familiarity with Tempe/Central Arizona market.
