A growing manufacturer of advanced power solutions is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to support continued growth across government, defense, military, industrial, and commercial markets.
This is a customer-facing role that works closely with Regional Sales Managers, marketing, engineering, operations, and external representatives to identify, qualify, and support new business opportunities aligned with the company's technical capabilities and revenue goals. The Field Sales Engineer will serve as a key technical resource throughout the sales process, helping customers understand available solutions while ensuring their requirements are clearly communicated internally.
The ideal candidate is a technically credible sales professional who can uncover customer requirements, translate technical and business needs into practical solutions, and support opportunities from initial discovery through proposal, qualification, and production phases. This individual will play a key role in developing quotes, proposals, compliance matrices, system block diagrams, project schedules, and other technical materials required to support RFIs, RFQs, and related opportunities.
The role also includes customer visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, system evaluations, troubleshooting, tradeshows, and other field-based activities. It is well suited for someone who enjoys being close to both the technology and the customer and wants to play a visible role in helping a growing organization expand its market presence.

This is a field-focused role requiring approximately 20–30% travel for customer visits, conferences, tradeshows, demonstrations, and other professional or industry events.
Candidates should be comfortable with extended driving and air travel when required. The position may also involve tradeshow setup and breakdown, as well as occasional lifting of equipment.
