We are looking for a Field Safety Coordinator who is passionate about helping people work safely, coaching employees, and building a strong culture of safety across our construction and industrial projects.If you're someone who enjoys working in the field, building relationships, solving problems, and making a positive impact on employees every day, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Field Safety Coordinator, you'll serve as the primary safety resource on assigned job sites by partnering with project managers, foremen, and field personnel to ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and OSHA regulations.Responsibilities include:Conduct daily jobsite inspections, safety audits, and behavioral observations.Identify hazards and work with project teams to implement practical solutions.Lead new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.Coach employees and supervisors to reinforce safe work practices.Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage events, identifying root causes and corrective actions.Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and safety planning.Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and company safety procedures.Maintain accurate inspection reports, training records, and safety documentation.Partner with project teams to integrate safety into daily planning and execution.Promote Hohl's safety culture through leadership, engagement, and continuous improvement.Support emergency response activities as needed.Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices.What We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years of construction, industrial, utility, or related safety experienceOSHA 510 Certification required (OSHA 500 preferred)CHST, OHST, CSM, or other safety certifications are a plusStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practicesExperience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysisExcellent communication, coaching, and leadership skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic safety reporting systemsValid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout Western New YorkWhy Hohl?Hohl Industrial Services has been delivering industrial construction, maintenance, fabrication, and transportation solutions for more than 75 years.
