We are currently seeking a Safety Advisor to join our Drilling/Foundation/Civil team! The Safety Advisor will assist the division with planning and implementation of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). The Safety & Training Advisor is responsible for reinforcing safety culture within the organization.
Essential Job Skills/Duties:
Education and Experience: High school graduate and/or GED equivalent. 2 years minimum related experience (ideally within drilling/foundation, substation, and civil construction). Strong preference for experience in: Drilling & foundations, Substations, Heavy civil construction. OSHA 30 certification and/or related safety certification, preferred. Understanding of Federal and State safety regulations and training requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and experience with web-based tracking software. Must complete pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check as a condition of employment.
