Field Restoration Specialist II
About the Job
Cityside Fiber is seeking a motivated Field Restoration Specialist II to join our Field Operations team. Building on the Field Restoration Specialist I role, this position takes on landscape and hardscape restoration work, restoring residential and commercial properties following fiber construction while working independently to manage daily routes and multi-step site restoration. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, pride in maintaining clean and professional communities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean infrastructure, equipment pads, utility boxes, conduit areas, and other field assets
- Remove temporary utility locate markings (paint and chalk) from streets, sidewalks, curbs, and driveways following fiber construction
- Perform landscape restoration including sod replacement, irrigation repair, grading, mulch, decorative rock, and edging
- Perform hardscape restoration including pavers, concrete, gravel, fencing, gates, mailbox posts, and utility lids
- Perform the removal, lifting, cutting, rolling, and temporary protection of existing turf to provide access for underground Service Drop installations and other construction activities.
- Properly prepare and protect turf prior to construction to minimize damage and maintain the integrity of the existing turf system.
- Reinstall and restore synthetic turf following completion of underground construction work.
- Perform standard turf repairs, including repositioning, leveling, securing, and correcting minor cuts, separations, and displaced areas.
- Ensure turf is properly aligned with surrounding areas and that seams, edges, transitions, and finished surfaces meet Cityside Fiber restoration standards.
- Coordinate with Service Drop and Field Operations personnel to ensure turf restoration is completed after construction activities are finished.
- Identify turf conditions or damage that exceed standard restoration capabilities and escalate to management when specialized repair or replacement is required.
- Document completed turf restoration work with required photographs and work-order notes.
- Ensure proper water usage and compliance with local environmental regulations
- Follow safe chemical handling, equipment operation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols at all times
- Inspect equipment before and after use and report maintenance issues promptly
- Complete daily work orders and site documentation accurately and on time
- Coordinate with construction crews and supervisors to prioritize clean-up and restoration areas
- Safely transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites and manage daily routes effectively
- Support facilities maintenance, fleet washing, warehouse organization, material deliveries, and inventory as needed
- Work in various outdoor environments and weather conditions throughout the service area

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in pressure washing, landscaping, hardscape/concrete, construction clean-up, or a related field
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and move equipment (50+ lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, professional communities
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes effectively
- Familiarity with standard safety protocols and procedures, and a commitment to working safely in the field
- Valid California driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Availability for occasional overtime and weekend work as construction schedules require
