Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Field Resource Specialist (Low Voltage Certification) to provide on-site supervision, compliance oversight, and regulatory support for limited-energy electrical work performed by field service technicians throughout Southwest Washington.
The selected candidate will serve as a certified supervising electrician, ensuring that field technicians and electrical trainees perform work in accordance with Washington State electrical regulations. This position will focus on supervision, training-hour verification, compliance documentation, and quality oversight rather than hands-on equipment installation or repair.
The ideal candidate must hold an active Washington State 06 Limited Energy System Specialty Electrician certification and be legally authorized to supervise electrical trainees under applicable state regulations.

Primary Responsibilities
Field Supervision & Compliance: Provide on-site supervision and observation of field technicians performing limited-energy electrical work throughout the Vancouver, Washington market and surrounding rural areas. Ensure all activities comply with applicable state electrical codes, licensing requirements, and supervision standards.
Electrical Work Verification: Verify that assigned electrical tasks fall within the approved scope of the 06 Limited Energy specialty classification. Evaluate low-voltage, signalling, and power-limited electrical work to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Restrict or escalate activities that exceed the authorized scope of work.
Trainee Supervision & Hour Validation: Supervise electrical trainees in accordance with Washington State requirements, including mandatory jobsite supervision and applicable trainee-to-supervisor ratios. Monitor qualifying work activities and validate supervised electrical experience hours.
Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate records of supervised electrical work hours, ensuring proper classification, documentation, and compliance with state regulatory requirements. Support the preparation, review, and validation of Affidavits of Experience for submission to the appropriate state licensing authority.
Regulatory & Quality Assurance: Support compliance audits, identify potential regulatory risks, and ensure field operations adhere to established electrical safety and quality standards. Partner with program administrators and trainees to ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation.
Operational Coordination: Coordinate with field technicians and program stakeholders to verify service activities and maintain accurate customer and service information required for operational records and invoicing.

Required Qualifications
An active Washington State 06 Limited Energy System Specialty Electrician Certificate of Competency is mandatory.
Candidates must be legally qualified to serve as supervising electricians for electrical trainees under applicable Washington State regulations.
Working knowledge of Washington State electrical laws, including RCW 19.28 and WAC 296-46B, is required.
Understanding of electrical supervision requirements, trainee-to-supervisor ratios, specialty classifications, and regulatory compliance standards is essential.
Experience maintaining electrical work-hour records, compliance logs, inspection documentation, or other regulatory records is required.
Practical knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, signalling systems, and power-limited installations is highly desirable.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supervising electrical trainees, licensed apprentices, or field service technicians is preferred.
Familiarity with Washington State Affidavits of Experience, electrical certification requirements, and specialty-specific work-hour tracking is highly desirable.
Experience working with low-voltage systems, telecommunications infrastructure, field service operations, or electrical compliance programs is beneficial.
A background in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, safety oversight, or audit management is an advantage.
