While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit and communicate verbally, including hearing and speaking. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may also occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is primarily performed outdoors and may involve exposure to adverse weather conditions. While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment and frequently works in wet and/or humid environments. Exposure to airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration may occur.
The employee may occasionally be exposed to electrical shock hazards. Noise levels in the work environment may range from quiet to loud. The employee must be able to work safely and effectively under varying and adverse weather conditions.
