Ken's Gutters is looking for a
motivated and resourceful Field Recruitment Specialist to help us build and
maintain a high-quality network of field professionals across multiple markets.
Unlike traditional recruiting,
this role focuses on identifying, recruiting, and onboarding both 1099
independent contractors and W-2 employees who provide gutter cleaning, dryer
vent cleaning, and other exterior home services.
We're looking for someone with
experience recruiting blue-collar workers or skilled trades who enjoys building
relationships, networking, and finding great people beyond traditional job
boards.
About the Role
As our Field Recruitment
Specialist, you'll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding
qualified field professionals while maintaining a strong pipeline of reliable
subcontractors and employees.
Success in this role means
consistently finding high-quality professionals who represent our company well,
deliver excellent service to our customers, and support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit qualified 1099
subcontractors and W-2 field employees.
- Build and maintain a strong
pipeline of skilled field professionals.
- Source candidates through online
platforms, referrals, networking, social media, and community outreach.
- Conduct phone interviews in both
English and Spanish when needed.
- Screen candidates to ensure they
meet company standards.
- Guide contractors and employees
through the onboarding process.
- Build long-term relationships with
subcontractors and field teams.
- Maintain accurate recruiting
records and candidate pipelines.
- Partner with Operations to
understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Continuously develop new
recruiting strategies to attract quality talent.
What We're Looking For
- Experience recruiting blue-collar
employees, field technicians, subcontractors, or skilled trades.
- Experience recruiting 1099
independent contractors is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and
relationship-building skills.
- Strong sourcing abilities beyond
traditional job boards.
- Highly organized with excellent
follow-up.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Comfortable using recruiting
software, CRMs, Microsoft Office, and online sourcing tools.
- Able to manage multiple openings
and priorities simultaneously.

Language Requirements
Bilingual English and Spanish is
strongly preferred. Much of our recruiting involves communicating with
Spanish-speaking subcontractors and field professionals, making strong verbal
communication in both languages a significant advantage.
