    Field Quality Completions Manager
    Location: Sherrills Ford, NC
    Schedule: 5/10s

    We are seeking an experienced Field Quality Completions Manager to support a large-scale heavy industrial construction project in Sherrills Ford, NC. This position will play a key role in managing the transition from construction through mechanical completion, turnover, and commissioning.

    The Field Quality Completions Manager will oversee the project completions database and lead the Quality Completions team while coordinating closely with construction, engineering, quality, commissioning, project controls, and client stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the field Quality Completions team and associated completions activities.

    • Manage the project completions database, ensuring accurate tracking of systems, documentation, punch items, and turnover status.

    • Coordinate mechanical completion, turnover, commissioning, and system handover activities.

    • Support the Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) process and integration of completions activities with project execution.

    • Manage piping test packages and associated inspection and turnover documentation.

    • Coordinate and conduct system and completion walkdowns.

    • Manage punch list development, tracking, resolution, and closeout.

    • Assemble, review, and manage turnover packages and mechanical completion documentation.

    • Coordinate QA/QC inspections, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and required quality documentation.

    • Oversee equipment and system preservation activities.

    • Manage engineering and completions data required for turnover and commissioning.

    • Coordinate completions activities across construction, engineering, quality, commissioning, project controls, and client teams.

    • Troubleshoot field and documentation issues that could impact mechanical completion or turnover milestones.

    • Monitor completions progress and drive activities necessary to achieve project schedule requirements.

    Requirements

    • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

    • 6+ years of heavy industrial construction experience within power generation, refinery, petrochemical, chemical processing, or similar industrial facilities.

    • 2+ years of experience managing completions personnel and overseeing turnover, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities.

    • Experience leading completions teams and coordinating turnover activities across multiple project stakeholders.

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical completion, turnover, commissioning, system handover, walkdowns, and turnover packages.

    • Working knowledge of QA/QC inspection processes, ITPs, mechanical completion requirements, and project handover documentation.

    • Experience assembling turnover packages, conducting walkdowns, and managing punch list items through closeout.

    • Experience with completions database systems such as Co-Console, WinPCS, TOASTR, SmartPlant Completions (SPC), or similar platforms.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

    • Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

    • 10+ years of heavy industrial construction experience.

    Industrial Experience Requirement

    Candidates must have substantial heavy industrial construction experience within power generation, refinery, petrochemical, chemical processing, or similar industrial facilities.

    Candidates whose experience is primarily in solar, wind, data centers, commercial construction, residential construction, or pipeline-only projects will not be considered a fit for this position.
