    UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.

    Job Summary

    The Field Project Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with current Multi-Family and Commercial construction accounts and develops new relationships with potential accounts. Works under the direction of an Account Manager or the Regional Sales Manager; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and a certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

    This is a non-commissioned, bonus-eligible, salary position. 


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base

    • Regularly visits jobsites in accordance with proposed schedule and resolves job-site issues and concerns

    • Provide accurate market feedback on competitors, service requirements

    • Resolves customer issues/problems on a timely basis

    • Identifies customers' needs and presents solutions by recommending potential product enhancements or modifications

    • Assists Account Managers in generating new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers

    • Monitors sales market in assigned region

    • Prepares various reports as required

    • Performs other duties as required (job drive-bys, job setup, pre-con meeting attendance, etc)

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high school diploma; preferred bachelor's degree

    • Preferred one to three years of experience in construction or related area.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications

    • Preferred manufacturing background, but not required

    • Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines

    Compensation & Benefit Information
