What You'll Do
Take ownership of assigned commercial construction projects from preconstruction and mobilization through construction, closeout, and final turnover.
Manage day-to-day project and jobsite operations, ensuring projects meet schedule, cost, quality, safety, documentation, and client expectations.
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, including short-term and three-week look-ahead schedules, milestones, procurement, recovery, and closeout schedules.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, field personnel, inspections, deliveries, manpower, logistics, and construction sequencing.
Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, meeting minutes, field reports, deficiency notices, punch lists, and closeout documents.
Use Procore and other project-management systems to maintain accurate and organized project records.
Serve as a day-to-day representative of Omari with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, property managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Lead and participate in owner, OAC, subcontractor, coordination, safety, and preconstruction meetings.
Proactively identify and resolve project delays, design conflicts, procurement issues, manpower deficiencies, quality concerns, and other risks.
Hold subcontractors accountable for their contractual scope, schedule, quality, safety, manpower, documentation, and closeout obligations.
Enforce OSHA requirements, project safety plans, PPE requirements, and Omari safety standards.
Manage field quality control, inspections, testing, commissioning, deficiency correction, and documentation.
Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, schedules, photographs, safety records, inspection records, and other required project documentation.
Provide leadership with timely and accurate updates regarding project progress, risks, costs, delays, and outstanding issues.
Manage punch-list completion, commissioning, final inspections, warranties, as-builts, owner training, turnover, and final closeout.
Exercise sound independent judgment while escalating material financial, contractual, scheduling, safety, client, or operational issues to Company leadership.
What You Bring
8+ years of commercial construction experience, with strong general contracting experience preferred.
Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, scheduling, project documentation, and field operations.
