Pay: $24.00$30.00/hr DOE

Position Summary
We are seeking a Field Payroll Specialist to provide immediate support to a small team responsible for processing certified payroll. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 23 months and is ideal for someone with prior certified payroll experience. Candidates with strong Microsoft Excel skills, data analysis experience, and exceptional attention to detail will also be considered.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and processing of certified payroll reports.
Review payroll records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance requirements.
Collect, organize, and analyze payroll-related data.
Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and payroll documentation.
Audit payroll information and identify discrepancies.
Work closely with field personnel and internal teams to gather required payroll data.
Ensure timely submission of payroll reports and supporting documentation.
Support ongoing payroll projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Previous certified payroll experience preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data manipulation, and reporting.
Experience with data analysis, auditing, or payroll administration preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
