The department will provide training and support.Must obtain a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate within six months of hire. Training and testing resources will be provided.Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and a background check.Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThis is an active, field-based position involving regular travel throughout Bonneville County. Work is performed outdoors in changing weather and seasonal conditions and may involve exposure to chemicals, equipment, traffic, uneven terrain, and other potential hazards.The position requires walking, standing, stooping, sitting, lifting, reaching, and using the hands, fingers, legs, and feet to operate vehicles and equipment. Employees must be able to regularly lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Winter responsibilities may require operating snowplows and salt-spreading equipment during early-morning or irregular hours.
