Description
Provides on-site technical support and assistance by deploying to CASTLE-NET program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks. Conducts network performance evaluations, checks conference room equipment, supports end-user devices, and ensures compliance with USACE IT policies. Assists with IT equipment disposal training and supports onsite personnel with IT issue ticketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Four (4) years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles.
- Must have strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
- Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be proficient in remote support tools and ticketing systems
-Must be willing to travel.
Certification Required - One (1) from the list below
- CompTIA A+
OR
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
OR
- CND
OR
- GFACT
OR
- GSEC
OR
- Security+
Desired Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with USACE IT environment and policies is a plus.
