Suncore is looking for an experienced Diesel Field Mechanic in Boise. If you’re a hands-on problem solver who knows heavy equipment, yellow iron, and diesel systems inside and out, bring your expertise to a team that values your skills.

 

Full-time shifts:

• 12:00 PM–10:30 PM

• 3:00 PM–1:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair diesel vehicles and heavy equipment

• Perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic control systems

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and field repairs

• Respond to road calls and keep equipment productive

• Perform minor welding and equipment/plant maintenance

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

What You Bring

• 5+ years of heavy equipment diesel mechanic experience, including 1+ year of field experience

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card

• Clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
