ROLE STATEMENT:

The Field Mechanic will be a member of the Fracturing Department responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Fracturing equipment (including trucks, Frac pumps, blenders, and hydration units) using hand and/or power tools and following oral and written work orders.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and repair all equipment
  • Regularly perform Preventive Maintenance
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions on all equipment
  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies & Procedures
  • Work outside in all weather conditions with a diverse team

SCHEDULE:

  • Local: Fifteen (15) days on, six (6) days off
  • Schedule alternates between days and nights

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate plus Overtime, $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Health and Dental Benefits, Paid Vacation Days
  • Paid Training
  • Per Diem up to $40/day while working outside of District and no meal provided
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided

EXTENSIVE TRAINING:

  • Every new hire attends Orientation and Training School (OaTS) in Grand Junction, CO
  • Information is provided about Calfrac's Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures

  • Obtain all required Safety Tickets
  • Hands on training

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid Driver's License, Class A CDL preferred
  • Satisfactory Driving Record for last 3 years
  • Diesel mechanic education/certification preferred
  • 2+ years diesel/hydraulic maintenance
  • Previous industry related experience preferred
