Description

Field Installation Supervisor (Experienced) – Landscape Lighting Foreman

Lite Logics is hiring an experienced field installation supervisor in the Tampa Bay area.

This role is for a proven foreman. You must have real, hands-on landscape and low-voltage outdoor lighting installation experience AND a track record of running install crews. Candidates without both will not be considered.

About The Role

We're looking for a working foreman who can own the job site from start to finish: run the crew, read the low-voltage lighting plan, hold the quality bar, and handle homeowners with confidence. You'll lead installations on residential properties throughout Tampa Bay and be accountable for getting jobs done right the first time, with minimal callbacks.

What You'll Do

  • Run day-to-day field crews: assign tasks, set the pace, coach installers on workmanship and safety, and keep jobs on schedule.
  • Read and interpret low-voltage lighting plans, including fixture layouts, wire runs, transformer sizing, and voltage-drop considerations, and translate them into a clear plan for the crew.
  • Own installation quality: inspect every job, run lighting tests, make aiming adjustments, and sign off before the crew leaves.
  • Manage callbacks: diagnose and fix service issues, find the root cause, and correct crew habits so problems don't repeat.
  • Be the face of the company on site: walk homeowners through the work, set expectations, address concerns professionally, and secure final sign-off.
  • Confirm utility locates and site safety before digging; protect and restore landscaping, hardscape, and property.
  • Track materials, crew time, progress, and issues; document before-and-after conditions with photos and completion checklists.
  • Keep management informed of progress, schedule impacts, and obstacles; get approval before changing scope, adding costs, or promising extra work.
  • Stop work for safety concerns or tasks that require a licensed specialist.

Required Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience installing landscape and low-voltage outdoor lighting: fixtures, wiring, transformers, weatherproof connections, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience as a foreman, crew lead, or field supervisor running installation crews.
  • Ability to read low-voltage lighting plans and manufacturer specifications accurately.
  • Track record of delivering quality work and reducing callbacks.
  • Comfortable and professional working directly with homeowners.
  • Reliable transportation to Tampa Bay job sites.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, job records, and checklists.
  • Able to perform essential outdoor installation duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Note: This position does not authorize line-voltage electrical work or other tasks requiring licenses the employee does not hold.

Compensation

Target pay is $30–$33/hour (or approximately $65,000/year salaried), based on experience. There is room above that range for the right person, which may include a completion and quality bonus tied to on-time, callback-free jobs.

Candidate Screening Information

For each recommended candidate, please provide: specific landscape/low-voltage lighting installation experience (years, companies, types of projects), foreman or crew-lead experience (crew size, how long), how they've handled quality control and callbacks, examples of working directly with homeowners, ability to read low-voltage plans, pay expectations, availability and earliest start date, and any relevant training, licenses, or certifications.
