    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Field Installation Manager to support commercial door and gate service operations across the Sacramento area. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on managing field crews, coordinating service jobs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality project completion.

    This role is designed to support leadership by improving field efficiency and managing daily service operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee 10–20 active field service jobs daily
    • Support and troubleshoot field technicians (onsite and remote)
    • Prepare and run service estimates and job scopes
    • Schedule and coordinate 1–2 person installation/service crews
    • Source materials, parts, and equipment for jobs
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
    • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
    • Maintain compliance with safety and building standards (ADA, fire code, etc.)
    • Work closely with leadership during a 6-month training period

    Required Experience

    • 5+ years in commercial door and gate service/installation
    • Experience with:
      • Automatic doors
      • Storefront doors
      • Hollow metal doors
      • Wood/solid core doors
      • Overhead doors
      • Dock equipment
      • Gates and gate operators
    • Strong troubleshooting and field diagnostics skills
    • Experience running estimates and coordinating service work
    • Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience
    • Broad experience across multiple door/gate systems
    • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    Work Environment

    • Primarily field-based role
    • High daily activity and job coordination
    • Occasional after-hours phone support (limited weekends)
    • 6-month structured training with leadership
