Field Installation & Deployment Coordinator contract-to-hire opportunity for an experienced installation or project professional with 5+ years of experience managing field installations. In this role, you will coordinate the rollout of technology systems at customer sites across the United States and Canada, handling site surveys, installation planning, quote evaluation, and on-site coordination through closeout. The ideal candidate is an organized, self-directed project manager with a background in physical installations, ideally with concrete or asphalt exposure. Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing field installations, deployments, construction, or similar projects
- Experience coordinating multi-site projects and working with contractors and vendors
- Background in physical or digital installations, such as technology, infrastructure, or equipment rollouts
- Experience with concrete or asphalt work is a strong plus
- Ability to evaluate contractor quotes and understand purchase order processes
- Ability to read site plans, drawings, and installation specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
- Willingness to travel approximately 60–80% throughout the U.S. and Canada
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assess customer locations for installation readiness
- Develop installation plans and schedules for each site
- Work with a lead installation contractor to coordinate subcontractors and trades
- Evaluate contractor quotes and coordinate approvals and purchase orders
- Oversee installations on site and make sure work meets plans, specifications, and customer site rules
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer site personnel
- Validate installation quality and readiness for commissioning, and train customer teams on basic system operation
- Track schedules, costs, and issues, and produce status reports and closeout documentation
