Field Install Technician
Location: Pompano Beach, Florida (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract to Perm
Role Overview
We are seeking a Field Install Technician for a role in the Pompano, FL area. This position involves installing and programming security systems in residential communities and for small business customers. The role offers the potential for permanent conversion based on performance, metrics, and upselling success.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Candidates must have experience with low voltage systems, Burglar Alarms (BA), CAT 5/CAT 6 cabling, and CCTV.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, drills, and a multimeter is necessary.
Other Requirements: A current and valid State Driver's License is mandatory. Candidates must own reliable transportation (SUV or large 4-door sedan), basic hand tools, and a 6-8 foot ladder (collapsible is acceptable).

The pay rate for this position is between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour, based on experience. Mileage will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.265 per mile, up to 400 miles per week.
