Field Glazing and Fence Installation Technician

Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Overtime: Varies based on workload and project demands

A day in this role

You’ll start your morning by reviewing job specs for a commercial storefront, confirming measurements, and staging tools for a safe, efficient install. Midday may find you assisting with fence panel placement at a residential site, operating power tools with precision. By afternoon, you’ll help load materials, perform a glass repair, and ensure each site is left clean and professional—all while collaborating with a team that values safety, accuracy, and a strong work ethic.

What you’ll take on

• Support commercial glass installation, repair, and replacement projects with accuracy and care
• Install fencing systems and components to meet project requirements and specs
• Measure, cut, prep, and set materials precisely for a quality finish
• Operate hand and power tools safely; follow all site safety practices
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials at various job locations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment while assisting with general construction duties

Core qualifications

• Consistent work history with a dependable, hardworking mindset
• Background in construction, installation, fencing, glazing, or related trades (preferred)
• Accurate measuring skills and strong attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills

Preferred experience

• Commercial project experience
• Fence installation, caulking/sealing, or material fabrication
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience operating construction tools and equipment

Physical demands

• Lift, carry, and move construction materials throughout the shift
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather
• Comfortable working at heights when required
• Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Work extended hours and Saturdays as needed
