Field Experiences Assistant

Full Time
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of the School of Education in making and documenting field placements for students
- Maintain correspondence with administrators at numerous schools and districts
- Assist the Director of the School of Education in organizing and implementing training for supervisors, candidates, and mentor teachers
- Use multiple software applications to collect, organize, and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders
- Assist with providing appropriate data to staff and faculty
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with school districts, host teachers, and university supervisors
- Develop and maintain effective methods for communicating information related to Field Experiences, including web pages, e-mail, and face-to-face meetings
- Take initiative to identify and help resolve challenges that arise in the office
- Assist the Director of the School of Education with Substitute Training programs
- Assist the Director of the School of Education with Triad meetings
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Successful work experience collecting, organizing, and distributing data
- History of successful collaboration in a work environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft products, including Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use Google products, including Documents, Sheets, and Forms
- Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and take proactive steps to resolve them
- Successful experience with learning new computer applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
