About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We give teams a complete backend out of the box: Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search, all built on Postgres and designed to grow with the products people build on us.We're open source, remote‑first, and async by default. We move fast, we ship in public, and we care a lot about doing right by the developers who trust us.About The Role Our events program is how a lot of developers and teams meet Supabase for the first time, whether that's a packed booth at a major trade show, an event with one of our partners, or a dinner with a room full of target accounts. We're looking for a Field Marketing & Events Manager to own and grow that program. The role centers on two areas:Partner events and trade shows : The events that put Supabase in front of the wider market and our partner network. You'll own these end to end, with the goal of building awareness with the audiences that matter to us, getting our team face‑to‑face with customers, prospects, and partners, and turning that into leads, signups, and real opportunities.Strategic business events : High‑touch events you'll run with Sales, like executive dinners and small‑format gatherings built around specific accounts. These sit further down the funnel: the point is to get in the room with target accounts, influence and accelerate pipeline, and open up the expansion opportunities and strategic relationships that help close and grow deals. One thing to know going in: this is a newly formed team, and we're still figuring out how it all works. You'll help define the playbook, not inherit one. What You'll Do Own partner events and trade shows end to end, from planning through on‑site execution and follow‑up.Work with Sales to design and run strategic business events: executive dinners, roundtables, and small high‑touch gatherings.Help decide where we show up by evaluating event opportunities.Run sponsorships from contract to follow‑up.Manage the operational backbone: budgets, vendors, timelines, run‑of‑show docs, staffing plans, and on‑site execution.Coordinate the physical side: booth assets, shipping, print, signage, swag, demos, and registration.Partner closely with PMM, Partnerships, Design, Ops, Finance, and Legal.Drive promotion and attendee comms.Ensure leads get captured and followed up on.Track performance against goals and turn results into reporting and program improvements.Build repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes.Support our community events program where it helps.Who You Are Passionate about building memorable, high‑quality event experiences.Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and strong at managing timelines.Execution‑focused with a mindset on impact.Analytical and data‑driven.Calm under pressure and adaptable on‑site.Comfortable working independently and owning projects end to end.A clear communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.Scrappy, resourceful, and excited to learn. What We're Looking For 5‑8+ years in field marketing or a closely related role.Direct experience running trade shows and sponsored conferences.Experience with partner events and co‑marketing.Experience building strategic business events in partnership with Sales.Comfort owning budgets, vendors, contracts, and on‑site logistics.Strong written communication skills.Willingness to travel up to 50%.Nice to have Experience marketing to a technical or developer audience.History of working with enterprise Sales teams.Experience in a fast‑moving, lean, remote, async environment. What We Offer Fully Remote : We hire globally.ESOP : Every team member receives equity ownership.Tech Allowance : Budget to set up your ideal work environment.Health Benefits : 100% coverage for employees, 80% for dependents.Annual Off‑Sits : Company‑wide gathering once a year.Flexible Work : Async operations with trust and autonomy.Professional Development : Annual education allowance.Hiring Process Apply: Our team will review your application.Intro Call: A short video chat.Interviews: Up to four calls with team leads, future teammates, cross‑functional partners, and leadership.Decision: Final follow‑up or offer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
