The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Field Environmental Coordinatorfor a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Loudon,TN. Details for the position are as follows:
 
Title: Field Environmental Coordinator
Location: Loudon, TN 37774, USA
Duration: 12 months (Possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget)
Hourly Rate on W2: $21/hr. 
 
Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Field Environmental Coordinator to support environmental compliance activities at our manufacturing facility in Loudon, TN. This role is responsible for conducting environmental inspections, managing environmental data and records, coordinating compliance-related activities, and supporting waste management programs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and communication skills, be comfortable working in both office and field environments, and have the ability to learn environmental regulations and compliance processes through company-provided training.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine on-site environmental inspections, including outdoor field assessments.

• Maintain environmental records, reports, and compliance documentation.

• Perform data entry and manage environmental databases and tracking systems.

• Coordinate environmental tasks, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.

• Coordinate universal and hazardous waste pick ups

• Load trailer with empty containers after properly painting labels and get them fully drained

• Support waste and storm water management programs and environmental compliance initiatives.

• Monitor and communicate environmental compliance requirements to appropriate stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement efforts related to environmental compliance and sustainability.

 

Required Qualifications

•High School Diploma or GED.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:

O Excel

o Outlook

o Word

o Microsoft Teams

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•Excellent organizational, time management, and self-management skills.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

•Ability to perform field inspections in varying weather conditions.

•Ability to learn and safely drive forklift trucks

•Must be able to obtain and maintain:

O RCRA Certification (Training provided by the company.)

O DOT Certification (Training provided by the company.)

•Must provide and wear steel-toed safety shoes.

 

Preferred

•Previous experience in environmental compliance, environmental inspections, manufacturing support, EHS, waste management, stormwater programs, or related fields.

•Experience maintaining records, tracking data, and supporting compliance programs.

•Familiarity with environmental regulations, inspections, or industrial operations.
