    Location: Miami, FL (On-Site)

    We're seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support construction operations on a multi-year pipeline installation project utilizing advanced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) methods. You'll work directly alongside project managers, superintendents, and construction crews to help coordinate daily field activities, document progress, and ensure work is performed safely and according to project specifications.

    This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience on a major infrastructure project.

    What You'll Do

    • Support daily field construction activities.
    • Verify work is performed according to plans and specifications.
    • Assist with inspections, documentation, and reporting.
    • Track quantities, production, and project progress.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and field crews.
    • Prepare daily reports and maintain project records.
    • Assist with quality control and safety compliance.
    • Help resolve field issues alongside engineering and construction teams.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or related discipline.
    • 0 3 years of engineering or construction experience.
    • Internship or co-op experience in heavy civil, utilities, pipeline, or construction is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites.
    • Ability to travel and work on-site in the Miami area for the duration of the project.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • OSHA training
    • Construction inspection experience
    • Survey/layout experience
    • Interest in trenchless technology or underground infrastructure
