We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to deliver enterprise infrastructure solutions for our clients across a variety of industries.Position OverviewThe Field Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise data storage and hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor to customers, supporting infrastructure implementations, troubleshooting complex environments, and collaborating with sales and project teams to deliver successful technology solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Deployment & SupportInstall, configure, and optimize enterprise storage hardware and software platforms.Perform controller upgrades, operating system updates, firmware maintenance, and hardware refresh activities.Ensure infrastructure is deployed following best practices for performance, availability, and scalability.Storage & Network ConfigurationConfigure and support storage protocols including NFS, SMB/CIFS, Fibre Channel (FC), FCoE, and iSCSI.Manage networking components including VLANs, MTU settings, link aggregation, and interface configurations to optimize storage performance.Support SAN and NAS environments across enterprise infrastructures.Technical Support & TroubleshootingServe as the primary technical resource during implementation and support engagements.Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure high customer satisfaction.Partner with sales and account teams to understand customer business requirements.Participate in technical discovery sessions and recommend infrastructure solutions aligned with customer objectives.Develop solution designs, implementation plans, and technical documentation to support enterprise projects.Automation & Process ImprovementDevelop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Python and PowerShell.Improve operational efficiency by automating routine administrative tasks, deployments, and migration activities.Required Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in enterprise storage, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical consulting.Strong understanding of SAN and NAS storage architectures.Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware.Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, backup technologies, and disaster recovery strategies.Experience with enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Fibre Channel, and Ethernet switching.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-facing communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience implementing and supporting enterprise storage platforms.Industry certifications in storage, networking, cloud, or virtualization technologies are highly desirable.Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.Familiarity with enterprise data protection, replication, and business continuity solutions.Travel RequirementsAbility to travel regionally to customer sites as required.Initial travel may range from 50–75% depending on project assignments.Halian offers opportunities to grow into senior engineering, infrastructure architecture, consulting, and technical leadership roles while working on enterprise technology projects with leading organizations across multiple industries.#J-18808-Ljbffr
