Job duties include providing sustainment engineering, preventive and corrective maintenance, and real-time operations support for fixed and mobile telemetry tracking systems, digital data transmission systems, and network infrastructure under general technical guidance. The candidate will be actively involved in designing, building out, and sustaining Range Telemetry systems in strict adherence to 412TW Range Engineering and Quality Assurance processes.

Real-time support duties involve establishing end-to-end connectivity for pre-mission checks of voice, video, and data links, as well as monitoring live missions for abnormalities and rapidly troubleshooting issues as they arise. The candidate will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in accordance with established Local Work Cards, standard operating procedures, tech manuals, and other official documentation.

The candidate must be proficient in utilizing test equipment such as RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, telemetry receivers, and video distribution amplifiers. A solid understanding of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) is required, along with practical knowledge of data transport equipment and transmission media.
