Field Engineer

Summary:

• Duration: Contract role
• Work Mode: Onsite
• Location: Freeland, MI
• Weekly Mileage: 250-350 per week

Responsibilities:

• Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
• Perform repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
• Conduct whole unit swaps, and repair or replace PC peripherals.
• Close service tickets in real-time using the company-provided phone.

Requirements:

• A Certification is required.
• Must have a reliable car and car insurance.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
• Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
• Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
• Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required.
• Must be able to complete required product training.

Preferred Skills:

• Computer-building background experience preferred.
• General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
