Overview:
Field Mechanic - Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: 7am - 4pm, full-time
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair diesel vehicles and heavy equipment
- Perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including electronic controls
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to keep our fleet safe and reliable
- Complete road calls and perform field repairs when equipment needs you most
- Perform minor welding repairs and equipment and plant maintenance
- Maintain your tools and equipment - we’ll help with a tool allowance and cell phone stipend
- Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe, healthy work environment
What You Bring
- Cat or Yellow Iron Experience
- 2–4 years of diesel mechanic experience, including at least 1 year of field mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- A dependable, safety-minded approach and pride in doing quality work
