Job Description:

Field Services Technician

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are supporting a large-scale enterprise deployment across a healthcare and academic environment. This role is ideal for hands-on, customer-focused technicians who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working directly with end users. You will be responsible for device deployment, MDM enrollment, and real-time support via walk-up and on-site assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and provision Windows and macOS devices.
  • Enroll and configure devices in Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
  • Support two-step device enrollment processes.
  • Assist with Microsoft Authenticator setup and MFA support.
  • Provide in-person support via walk-up and field service.
  • Troubleshoot device issues, reinstall and reset devices.
  • Support iPhones including settings navigation and profiles.
  • Track and document deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of device deployment or desktop support experience.
  • Experience or exposure to MDM tools (Intune, Jamf preferred).
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and iOS.
  • Understanding of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
