    Description

    About the Role

Strata Robotics builds robotics for the construction industry. We're hiring a Deployment Engineer to run point on active jobsites — scoping pilots, managing relationships, and feeding field realities back to our engineering team. Your credibility on-site matters as much as your ability to translate field reality into engineering requirements.

    What You'll Do

    • Identify, scope, and launch pilot programs with contractors, EPC firms, and owners — owning them from first site visit through conversion to commercial deployment
    • Live on or near the jobsite during pilots, acting as Strata's eyes, ears, and hands on the ground
    • Translate jobsite realities (schedules, trade sequencing, safety culture, site logistics) into clear, well-scoped product requirements for our engineering team, drawing on your own experience as a project or field engineer
    • Build trusted relationships with superintendents, project executives, innovation leads, and procurement teams, and represent Strata across the industry's relationship-driven ecosystem
    • Help qualify opportunities and shape commercial models that fit how construction actually buys, protecting engineering time by filtering for real fit

    What We're Looking For

    • 3+ years in construction with deep on-site operational experience — you've lived the jobsite as a field engineer, or similar role, not just visited it
    • Direct experience writing and refining requirements or scopes of work in a field or project engineering capacity
    • An existing network of relationships across the construction industry — GCs, subs, EPC firms, and owners — that you can bring to bear on day one
    • Fluency in construction workflows, safety programs, and procurement cycles
    • Comfort with ambiguity at an early-stage company and willingness to travel extensively to, or be based at, active jobsites
    Strong Plus
    • Experience working on data center construction or other large-scale, mission-critical, or highly technical build environments
    • EPC project experience and familiarity with material handling and site logistics
    • Prior success introducing new technology or automation to construction crews
    • Experience acting as a liaison between field teams and an internal engineering or product organization

    What We Offer

Competitive salary + meaningful equity, full health coverage, direct influence on product and company strategy, and a front-row seat to deploying robotics on real jobsites — not in a lab.
