At STERIS, we partner with healthcare and life sciences teams to protect patients and caregivers through reliable products and world-class service.
A day in this role
You begin from your home base, reviewing the day’s schedule on your mobile device. Your first stop is a hospital where a piece of medical equipment needs attention. You diagnose the issue, replace components, verify performance, and capture regulatory documentation in our digital systems. Midday, you complete preventive maintenance on additional devices, then consult with Tech Support and Engineering to resolve a tricky fault. Before you leave, you brief hospital staff on repair options and pricing, and coordinate next steps. You wrap up by planning tomorrow’s service calls and any field upgrade programs or installations on the docket.
