Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Instrumentation & Control Technician to join our team.
Field Automation Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities include participating with our customers in:
Automation process control instrumentation and equipment startup
Verifying, troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation and equipment communications
Inspecting instrument wiring, power and grounding of installation using a process meter
Setting up instruments with Hart 475 or TREX field communicator
Able to read P&ID's for process control configurations
Work with onsite installation crew
Replacing/installing instrumentation, RTU, PLC and equipment
Troubleshooting program logic, process control and equipment
Developing a solution to resolve process control from device to SCADA
Installing and calibrating flow measurement equipment (Coriolis, mag meter, mass flow meters, and ultrasonic meters)
Providing management of onsite control project installation and startup activities including construction supervision and supplier coordination
Providing process control, programming and equipment phone support
Effective and prompt response to customer requests or inquiries
Able to demonstrate crucial communication skills with customers
Providing clear and effective documentation of services provided to customers
Meeting project team commitments and deadlines
Traveling to customer facilities

The final offer will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in the position.
