Description

MAU is hiring a Remote Field Application Specialist for our client. As a Remote Field Applications Specialist - Medical Devices, you will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and support advanced radiation protection systems while partnering with hospital teams throughout the United States. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

  • Base pay: $75,000-$100,000
  • This position is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.
  • Remote position based in the Eastern U.S.
  • Travel required 50-75%, primarily supporting installation projects throughout the Northeast U.S.
  • Regional travel includes 1-3 overnight trips.
  • Candidates must have convenient access to a major airport.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree, military technical training, engineering technology, or an equivalent combination of education and field experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Field service experience in utilities, HVAC, telecom/cable, electrical contracting, or similar industries

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with hospital Facilities, Engineering, contractors, physicians, Cath lab teams, and radiation safety officers
  • Access to a major airport to support travel requirements

Essential Functions

  • Lead the installation and commissioning of ERPD systems in hospitals across the United States.
  • Coordinate with hospital Facilities, Engineering, and contractors to ensure site readiness.
  • Install, test, calibrate, and commission ERPD systems and control units.
  • Perform annual preventive maintenance and inspections of ERPD installations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Support customer demonstrations, evaluations, and pilot installations alongside the Sales and Clinical Specialists team.
  • Recommend product and process improvements based on field experience.
  • Help define installation, support, and service processes as part of the growing Field Applications team.
  • Work directly with physicians, Cath lab teams, hospital facilities, and radiation safety officers to support customer installations and service activities.
  • Help shape the processes, tools, and standards for the growing Field Applications organization.

Physical Demands

  • Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, kneel, climb, and work in tight mechanical spaces during installation and service activities
