Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a field application engineer in Leetsdale, PA

Duties and Responsibilities

-May spend the majority of their working hours outside of the office traveling from location to location, including cross-country.
-Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems according to specifications and safety standards.
-Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
-Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
-Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
-Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
-Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
-Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members to ensure satisfaction.
-Provide production support in assembly and routine testing of the products used in field applications.
-Assist the Product Division and Sales Department by solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements and technical product support.
-Other duties as assigned



Qualifications

-Minimum of Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering is required; BSME, BSIE, or BSEE is required.
-A minimum of two (2) years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation is required. Hydraulic systems experience is preferred.
-Familiarity and experience with hand and power tools is required.
A minimum of two (2) years" experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
-Knowledge of fluid power is preferred.
-Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
-Experience as a Field Application Engineer or in a similar technical role is preferred.
-Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems is required.
