American Solutions for Business (ASB) is seeking an Account Manager to support our faced paced sales team. This role provides essential support to the sales team, helping them grow their business through effective product sourcing, marketing support, and customer service. Key responsibilities include processing orders, entering purchase and sales order data accurately, and delivering prompt resolution to customer concerns to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide service support to assigned sales associates, and their clients: receiving orders, answering related questions, and resolving issues. Ensure all tasks are completed within specified timeframes.
- Assist sales associate with coordinating daily sales route, including gathering samples, customer communication, quotes and previous order data.
- Capturing preorder details, organizing data from customers including product interests, artwork and event details.
- Obtain quotes from vendors for new or repeat orders.
- Process submission of orders to vendors on a daily basis.
- Follow up with vendors to verify order receipt and to ensure client delivery timeline is met. Track order from production schedule to delivery date of product(s) through use of workflow management system.
- Proof all acknowledgements for correct specifications, costs and ship dates.
- Provide communication to sales and/or customers regarding status of orders, estimated time of arrival (ETA) and tracking information.
- Follow up with vendor and billing service representative on status of all aged open orders.
- Ensure thorough understanding of product pricing through use of the ASB negotiated pricing practices.
- Research and assist in the resolution of problems such as delivery errors, and other issues on a daily basis.
- Utilize industry association tools to aid in locating products or sourcing for new ideas. Gather information to create and assist in customer presentations.
- Occasional day and/or overnight travel is required to attend conferences and other vendor tradeshows scheduled throughout the year.
- Identify, build, and strengthen professional relationships with external and internal customers, vendors and clients.
- Manage and support online company stores, eCommerce platforms, and pop-up stores
- Additional duties as assigned.

Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Minimum of four years' experience or education in customer service, accounting, or inventory control and two years' experience as an expanded services coordinator or combination of both.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Decisive and Accountable: ability to make thoughtful decisions, strong follow-up skills, and taking ownership.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in business management, or sales and marketing preferred
- Four or more years of company or industry experience, with order management or promotional products industry experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
