    Duties:

    • Perform calibration, testing, and characterization of pulsed fiber laser systems during manufacturing.
    • Measure and verify laser performance parameters, including output power, spectrum, pulse waveform, pulse duration, repetition rate, and beam quality.
    • Troubleshoot laser systems, determine root causes of performance issues, and perform detailed technical analysis to support corrective actions.
    • Perform optical fiber preparation, splicing, and fiber assembly following established manufacturing procedures.
    • Assemble and integrate fiber-optic and electro-optical components into laser.
    • Document calibration, test results, root cause investigations, and corrective actions in accordance with company procedures.
    • Maintain test equipment and ensure compliance with all safety and quality requirements, including laser safety and ESD procedures.
    • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product reliability, manufacturing processes, and test procedures.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
    • Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential functions of this position.
